Any Home Bakers Here?

Good grief DMC...$48 for cookies decorated like that? Heck, they look as bad as mine and there's no way I'd feel right charging anyone for them.
Yours looked better then that!! I charged 1 time for cookies for Christmas a couple years ago. $24 for 2 dozen. I was stressed out over it so won’t do it again. I’m not secure enough. I told my sister she was crazy to pay that as she knows I always make goodies, she agreed and kept mine:gig

I’ve been told I should sell what I make but just can’t do it. I went to my sisters for Christmas and she bought some cookies from a new in home business in town to give them a try. I brought my tray of goodies as I always do. Sister packaged up boughten stuff and was going to drop it off where she works. She made me try it first. :sickMy other sister wouldn’t try it. She paid $48 for what she got. I should maybe thing about selling my stuff if she gets that much for this. She may have had more in the kitchen that wasn’t put out.

At least it's nice to know that nearsighted chicken has a steady job.:clap

I get the open your own business stuff too. But then it would not be fun anymore...it would be work.

That is very sad about the business selling bad goods.

Good grief do not usually have 6 pages to wade through :frowlove listening to ya all that know what your doing I am lower scale decorator as in awful.. if I can get frosting on a cake without tearing the cake apart or the cookie that has blobs that is me but they taste good I am happy I cheat my old Wisconsin cookbook gets me through and lots on here first ever real scalloped potato with ham chunks tonight

It is worth waiting for. You will be baking a "storm". We are waiting with you. Aria
Thank you for making me feel less stupid about my stupid posts. :hugs
I saw a recommended book entitled The Modern Stand Mixer Cookbook for the New Bride.
It’s for “newly engaged, newly married, or just getting a new stand mixer” people. I think I’ll download it. I already read about using it to shred cooked chicken. I never would have thought of that! It is broken up by the attachment. The three that come with it, and the ones you can buy. It also walks you through attaching everything. For $5, I think it will be handy.
