Any Home Bakers Here?

I have a 25 plastic storage totes filled with craft supplies. I am on a craft supply diet until I can get the totes to a more "reasonable" number. lol

I was told to never purchase pizza again when what we bake is better and costs less. It can be hard to get good take out and boy is it pricey!

We are 30 to 45 minutes to the nearest pizza place. We tend to not do take out.

Husband prefers it to the craft math. Critter math is so much cheaper. lol

I was working on a quilt one day when a friend and his wife stopped by to visit. As I was showing them the quilt, the husband said his wife should start quilting as her only hobby was shopping. My DH turned to him and in total seriousness said "Shopping is a much cheaper hobby". lol

Thank you. I am wanting to make some soft pretzels and some homemade pizza this week or next. My boys are going stir crazy for more baking.

I made pretzels with Duckling, and let her use cookie cutters. I never would have thought of making gingerbread and star shaped pretzels.

From Philly so I have a good recipe I use to make them. It helps to make me less homesick for the food there. Pizza here is more like 4 20 inch pies. The 5 boys can eat pizzas. lol

We discovered that my pizza crust is better than anything you can find around here.

We have a pizza crust that is a soft pretzel recipe and it is so much better than the store bought. We tend to make a huge batch twice a year and freeze some of the dough for later.

Yes it can be. I do know a few people who thought I was insane to spend what I did on some of my yarns. Then they felt the final products and were amazed.
