@jnicholes It is really cool that you can do that level of math - 20 years ago I would have understood all that, lol! It's great that you have found something that helps with your ADHD and that you are wise enough to know that you need to work at improving yourself.
It is NOT a perfect World....and none of us are ALWAYS PERFECT...
We all try to do our best. Aria

@Aria Of course none of us are perfect. If I implied that, then I am so sorry. Everyone has challenges in their life that they must overcome and they must continue to strive to grow and learn. Even "perfect" people.

I think it is wonderful that @jnicholes is getting the tools that he needs to deal with his ADHD. To many people don't have those tools - either by choise (too hard to do) or by circumstance (not taught them).

For example - I personally am painfully shy - it is so hard for me to even say hello to someone I don't know. My sister is the complete opposite, so she doesn't understand and doesn't believe me when I say I am being overwhelmed when I visit and she invites all her friends over to meet me. I have found myself locked in the bathroom trying not to cry because I am overwhelmed. I have learned to force myself to say hello to people on the street as I walk past. Some give me strange looks, but some smile and say hello back. The smiles make me feel better and stronger as a person - like maybe someone else is feeling isolated and alone and I just brightened their day a little bit.

I have a nephew who is slightly older than Jared, with some of the same challenges - but my nephew is using them as an excuse to live in mom and dads basement and do nothing with his life.

I have an easier time talking to people but d not like to make phone calls.

Jared you are a Wonderful young man tell your grandfather a whole bunch of us old ladies know how great you are..

I will.

He's going to be coming in on Wednesday or Thursday. What time, I don't know. I got to figure out what I'm going to cook for him.

I'd wager dollars to donuts that he's going to tell me something to help improve my cooking when I cook something for him.

Well, I'll figure it out.

Jared

One of my strong suits is geometry. I was actually talking to a guy on a math form recently. We were talking mathematics, and I showed him the following equation I found to get pi.

36 * 10^n / 2 sin (10 / 10^n)

The larger n is, the closer you get to Pi.

He told me, "That's exactly how Pythagoras figured it out. You would have loved hanging out with him."

Anyway, back on the subject of baking, maybe I will try to get another big fish. I know the catfish are biting pretty good.

I know whatever you choose is going to be a hit and treat for him
