Any Home Bakers Here?

Well, Sue and I had some time today so we made meals we enjoy but can never make small enough for two. So we make them up on a weekend and freeze individual portion to eat over the next few weeks. Left is Shepherds pie, bottom right is meatloaf and top right is left overs from the 4th. Buttered and added garlic powder to the buns and grilled them to get a slight toast. Chopped up the last link of Italian sausage and spread it over the buns. Then added the onions, tomatoes and peppers left over and covered with basil and mozzarella cheese. Added some sliced tomato, basil and Parmesan cheese and then baked at 475 until brown.

@penny1960, I'm not sure what would happen. I'm sure she would miss me, but you might be happy for me if I'm living my own life. Kind of a Bittersweet feeling in my own opinion. I had a situation in my family where we had to intervene and take care of my cousin's daughter for three years, because her mother was doing some really bad stuff. She was like family to us, while we are taking care of her. We returned her back to her mother when we confirmed that that everything was good up there. It was sad to see her go back, but I'm happy that she's being raised by her biological mother now.

I assume that would be the feeling when I move out.

Anyway, the emmental cheese is going smoothly so far.
