Beautiful! Love that butcher block it’s on.
We were just discussing this as well. That cold front hit us last night dropping the overnight low to 46.5F(yes the halfs matter). It will probably get a few degrees colder tonight so bringing in the Cook's or Norfolk Pine tree to decorate sounds good. The only problem is we have a new 5-6 month old siamese kitten in the house so probably not putting on any good/fragile ornaments. Here is my wonky tree in its 15 gallon planter!

I love that tree Penny. The last couple years I’ve grown very fond of the Charlie Brown trees.

Good morning DMC, are you doing any baking today?

Hi Debby! No, I’m at daycare today.

I'm not doing a lot of baking this year either. With DH being gone so much, it would just go to waste.

Maybe you could get the daycare kids to do some cookies with you! I'm sure they'd have fun.

We did a few goodies Sunday. I’m not into it this year. I am doing some cookies for a lady at the bank tomorrow night for her Christmas Saturday. She loves my cutouts. I’m also doing 2 dozen tractor cookies for New Year’s Eve for one of the ladies I clean for. She wants them for her great grandkids.
When I first started I baked cookies at the daycare and they decorated them. Some had more sprinkles then cookie:lol:

Don't forget to get some pictures of the cookies you do...I love seeing the way you decorate, you're very good at it!

Thank you Debby:hugs
These are the cookies I did for the Funeral Home for the smorgasbord that got cancelled. I still get paid. My sister did some of the decorated ones. She’s better then me...the second time she has done them. She’s the painter.

Why do you want zizotes? Will you be making poultice with it?
Only as it is native and relatively rare in my location. I have mowed down a couple that seeded themselves. Yes the tropical milkweeds are better suited to making large stands for the monarchs, but do not tolerate drought conditions well. I prefer not watering.
