Dinner tonight is pot roast cooked in the crock pot. Dessert is individual brownies! Can't wait for dinner!

We did it and it was success! DH doesn't like cabbage or corned beef, but cleared his plate!

We do or I do a fast cook on cabbage boil a pot the entire head will go in
drop it in at full boil count 10 minutes no more lift head cut into portions with a knife ..
cabbage still has crunch but much more tender

I just cut chunks and give it a quick fry in bacon grease.

My mother always cooked everything to death. I hated cabbage cooked her way.

That gave me a laugh...did everyone's mother cook their vegetables that way? Mine did it too.
