Yes it is! I'm having tons of fun with it. Made more crumpets this morning for breakfast but I'd like to try a cake or something. Still browsing recipes.

Our son came over last night and the brownies disappeared.

You should try KAF sourdough chocolate cake! It's excellent AND uses unfed sourdough! Just disregard the part of the instructions that says to "gently" blend. It's a gooey mess that requires more than a "gentle" blend. lol The cake is really good.

I made 2 loaves of sourdough sandwich bread using the KA recipe. I used AP flour, that's all I have, and 1.5 cups whole milk instead of the powdered and water.

Yes sorry I use AP flour .. Have small amount of unbleached four I had used to start a sourdough from scratch to see if I could

Made a sandwich for lunch. This bread is definitely good, the recipe is very similar to the one I use for regular yeast bread. Igor is quite happy.
