Did you use stretch and fold and then the tension pull?
I stretch it, fold back in, turn it and repeat. And keep doing it until I can make a smooth ball. Then shape it, mark it and leave it to rise. I'm probably not that good at working the dough.

Bob, Very Simple White Bread 1 1/2 c warm water 2 teaspoons yeastI've decided to take a strange turn. I think this week I'd like to make a nice springy white sandwich bread (Yeast based). We don't particularly care for it, so I've never tried to make it. I'm thinking if I get the feel of the dough for a bread that comes out with the texture I'm looking for it will help me with my whole wheat bread. Who would like to suggest a good white sandwich bread (yeast based) recipe to try? Yes, I'm trying to get to a store bought texture.

1/4 teaspoon sugar Combine and let sit. 3 cups flour 2 T honey
1 teaspoon salt 2 T melted butter 1/3 cup powdered milk. All wet
All dry Combine In mixer Knead 5 minutes Place in a greased bowl
'let rise Double 1 hour. Shape into loaf to fit 9 x 5 tin. Let rise till
top of tin rim 30 min - l hour. Bake 400 degree oven 25 - 35 mins
