Really I have a jar of ghee but have not used it so far May have to change my thinking

It fry's well and is good as a popcorn topping

We make our ghee. I don't know if it less expensive this way or not, it is just the cost of the butter. Butter is getting so expensive in the store.

Ghee is so good - DH loves it for making fried eggs and hash browns.

I only buy butter when it is on sale and I mean like about half price or less. It is holding up well for me in the freezer.

Here’s the recipe. I made a small change. I used rum extract and pure vanilla extract. DONT add the rum and vanilla until you are ready to flambé.

ETA Remove from heat before adding extracts.
