Any Home Bakers Here?

Today I will start a sponge for sourdough bread!

I will brave the heat and smoke tomorrow to bake a loaf. I skipped baking one last weekend
Of course I will be looking for a photo and a Recipe. I have a NEW Sourdough Sandwich Bread I am trying tomorrow. It does take 2 cups of sourdough starter. So glad I have two jars of SDS. Aria

Made some Elderberry Jam, DD helped me pick them from the tree in the garden. DS 1 & 2 helped pick the berries from the stems. It's not set yet, leaving it to cool. But it tastes nice. Will have some on toast in the morning I think.
:drool
First time making jam. Hope it sets ok.

Looks as though you processed well so not toxic as cooked

Well I found a recipe and made it, then read that elderberry is toxic. It has been boiled to death but... Probably best to buy some soft fruit and make some jam that isn't possibly bad for us.
Really? I ate lots of raw elderberries as a kid. I liked them and never had any toxic effects from them.
