Any recommendations for chocolate chip free mug cake or cookie recipes? I’m wanting a little something sweet but I’m out of chocolate chips. I tried looking in the index but I didn’t see any.

The three ingredient pb chip cookies can be made without the chips.


3 ingredient peanut butter cookies

1 cup creamy peanut butter

1 cup granulated sugar

1 egg

Simply mix it up, shape into 3/4 inch balls, press with fork and bake 8-9 minutes at 325°.
Depending on the brand of peanut butter they may be quite sticky. If they are I add 1/4 cup flour.

these may have been gophers. End results the same. Pesky critters.

We had gophers when I was growing up in So. Cal. Those things were WAY bigger than the voles here. I remember Dad would stuff a big trap down the hole. They made as much a mess with their tunnels as the woodchucks to here. Except that woodchucks are bigger. And yes they are a royal PITA.
