Any Home Bakers Here?

Hi everyone. It’s been ages since I stopped by., I hope everyone is well. The ducks, garden and family are keeping me busy. I’m off work this week so I showed the oldest grandchild how to use the bread machine. Hubs says he can taste the difference between the bread from the machine vs made by hand and I have to agree. However, the machine makes it easy to make a loaf when needed and plan to use it without taking much of my time. I also made a batch of peanut butter cookies.

I think that's great your g-son is into cooking and baking! That will stand him well for the rest of his life.

Grandest is he is developing something to take him through like BF and the Son are both pretty decent cooks
but neither one can bake

Good morning Aria. I switched over from chickens to ducks last fall and they’ve been keeping me busy! Plus the garden takes a bunch time on top of working full time. How are you? Up and about I hope!

I hope so! He loves to measure the ingredients, I caught him building flour castles in the bin with the measuring cups

Very true. Give a man a fish and he eats for a day. Teach a man to fish and he eats every day or something like that.

We Had Call Ducks before we had chickens. WE FOUND THEY WERE
more work and gave use Less. Sorry but chickens give you more in
return. I am healing SLOWLY.....this morning I discovered a blood blister in the right side of my mouth. I do not feel HEALTHY. Aria

Hi you all ! I had my first Spring egg salad and wild garlic sandwich today . Wow it was so good ! a table spoon of wild garlic chives cut in 1/8 " to 1/4" pieces and egg salad mixed well let set in fridge over night add a little salt and there you have it .

What is wild garlic chives? I've never heard of it.
