Any Home Bakers Here?

I hadn't done anything with my sourdough, other than look at it in the fridge, for at least a month. Monday or Tuesday, I pulled it out of the fridge, poured off the hooch, discarded all except for about a teaspoon, fed said teaspoon with flour and water, and let it sit out on the counter for the evening. When I went to bed, back in the fridge Carly went.
Yesterday, I made the levain for a loaf, let it sit all day, and put it in the fridge when I went to bed. It very happily floated this morning when I mixed up a loaf, which is in the fridge until I can bake it in the morning. Carly is a trooper!
