Me too

Hello Ron
How are you? :)

I couldn't find my way back for ages. This thread was not showing on my page at all.
Have you tried adding this page to your book marks on your browser?

I am doing ok. I baked sandwich bread and sourdough bread today. I also cultured a quart of yogurt.

I also cultured a quart of yogurt.
I need to ask you about yogurt. I do a gallon (because I want to eat yogurt instead of ice cream, and I really like ice cream), and used about 1 to 1.5 cups of starter which is yogurt from the previous batch.

I forgot to save some of my new batch until after I mixed honey in it. So I saved some, hoping that it will still work, with the honey in it. Do you think it will?
:fl:fl

Marie I used Grant Bakes Recipe...Very Easy
3 cups flour 1 1/2 cups warm water 11/4 teaspoon salt 1/4 teaspoon yeast
Mix in a bowl Sticky Dough stir with spatula...cover place on counter overnight.
12 hours in the morning ...place flour on your board or counter and place dough
on to SHAPE. This is Grants unusual shape.....flatten the dough length of bread
loaf you like.....turn and coat all dough with flour.....TWIST dough from both ends and place on a parchment lined cookie sheet. Let rise 1 1/2 - 2 hours covered. Bake in 450 degree oven 35-40 minutes. You can use a flour combo... I use whole wheat, Spelt, and Bread Flour. Your choice. Enjoy. Aria
Just going to keep this bumped up until I have a chance to write it all down .
Spelt and wholemeal or wheat is my favourite.

Have a good day everyone :)
