Amazing! When did you get these paragons of virtue (what month) and how old are they? I'm still trying to figure out what month to get my chicks so they will lay during the winter.

It also matters what breed you get.
No doubt. Can you recommend any birds that are not white? And um, not Brown Leghorn?
Get sex links that are production birds. Brown Leghorns are not production birds and will not lay like the White Leghorns.

We got a couple more inches of snow last night, for a total of 4-5+". A white Christmas is all but assured. We aren't going anywhere, except I have a chiropractor appointment this coming Wednesday. DH says if the roads are anything but "good" he'll take me in the Jeep. Thanks, dear. And then you can go with me to the grocery store and pick out whatever you think we should have on hand.
