Yes. That last batch didn't tighten up enough. Tonight's dough looks better. We're at close to 100% humidity around here.
I would add more flour in weather like that!

I guess I am going to have to. By the time it was ready to bake I still could not handle it with my hands. But as my late, great MIL used to say, "it'll eat!" 😄

There are some good videos for the final shaping for bread that might help.
This one has tips for all of the process:

So, am starting to prepare everything for 4 weeks of absence, freshened my sourdough and will try to dry it per dehydrator today, my kefir will produce one last charge of kefir before going to rest in the freezer and starting to pack my suitcases, one for the hospital and one for rehabilitation center, washing the last of laundry, harvested most of my black chilis, my other ones are not ready yet… ate some blush tomatoes ( the rest are still green) and am making waffles with the rest of the sourdough…I hope my garden will survive my absence but fear some plants won’t make it, just got sent some black currant plants 2 weeks ago, they still need a daily dose of water to make it through the next months…I fear I won’t be harvesting any peaches, they already have color but are still hard…
