Since we're waiting for spring to do anything with the bees, I'm up for reading and researching new things.

Yes, we got our first hive last May. We didn't take any honey, we left it all for the ladies. About a week ago, I put my ear down by the opening, and I could hear the "cluster hum."

It should. I did have to replace my cheap stainless cookware to something a little heavier, but my cast iron worked no problem.

They are making clad ware non stick pans that will work too. They sandwich some good stainless steel inside of aluminum.

Oh how nice! We got ours in May 2023 so not that long ago! Theirs lots to learn!

Oh - and my Mr Appliance guy says my oven is working perfectly. The top element only comes on while the oven is preheating. Once the oven reaches temp, it doesn't come on again. So if I want my baked goods to be darker, before they are done I need to turn the broiler on for a minute or two.

How do you make creamed honey?

Keep the honey where it is cool and it will granulate.
