A batch of crumpets makes six, and is two servings. I make nine (usually the right thickness, but the rings are smaller). I made a batch around 10:30, and my housemate ate five. I made another batch to eat tomorrow (they are supposed to age a day for better texture), but she woke from her nap, and saw them in the pan. They didn’t even finish cooking before she was ready. She ate six. I was planning on making cookies tonight, but I might be making, and hiding, crumpets.

We are down to 75, the rain never came last night. Back to 90 tomorrow, and no rain in sight.

We were at 100 yesterday, but according to the weather forecast the temperature should drop on Thursday.

There is Sunshine...slight wind....and 60 degrees....forecast
for 80 coming...and warmer week. Very changeable weather.
Leaving at 1....going to Dr. appointment. Getting out of the
house for a change.
