You know what? I need to distract and get off this subject. Talking about is just making me depressed.

I got my third egg today. 1.7oz.

From what I understand, new layers sometimes lay randomly. It takes a couple of days or weeks for them to get used to a normal consistently laying schedule.

How often do you see this? Two growing right next to each other?

Anyway, I have to go through the index and try and find something I can bake. I’m interested in trying something new.

Good news.

One of my sex links started laying today. It’s a brown egg that’s a completely different color than the eggs I’m getting from the Austra white.

Visually, I can see a difference. Laid by two different chickens.

The rooster came back.

He is able to fly up to the top of the run to get in.

That area needs a new covering that we are working on.
