It’s a search tool on BYC. You can search for specific threads with it. At least I think so.

When you click on the BYC search tool, the default setting is Everywhere. If you click on the 2 dots, you can choose to search within Threads, the specific forum you are in or the specific thread you are in on BYC. If you are in a Conversation, it also lets you search within the Conversation you are in.

The search tool I am referring to has to deal with Jared looking for a recipe within a specific thread on BYC.

It has nothing to do with searching from outside of BYC. You have to already be on BYC to be able to use it.

@Aria the search tool is not an email search tool, it’s search tool on BYC. You use it to look for specific threads.

Here’s a recent example. I’m looking for lions mane mushroom recipes. I go to the search tool on BYC and look up “lions mane mushroom” I would then get search results on BYC for threads that have or mention Lions mane mushrooms.

@R2elk knows a lot more about it than I do. I only learned of it recently myself.
