she sure did I understand being confused and frustrated been happening since my minor stroke took allot more than I wanted to admit then Graves took over me taking most my vision I have a 32 inch monitor on my desktop

@ronott1 not really recall where I did get the recipe for sourdough bread but wouldn't rule of thumb say 1/2 cup or 1 of sourdough per tablespoon of yeast?

I have never made Sourdough Bread...this is going to be an
adventure.

I have had Silkie Chickens...now have 1 left. My neighbor gave me
4EE mix and I love the blue colored large eggs. Silkies are beautiful
and are fun to watch. BUT, not good egg layers. We have decided to get different breeds. Am reading up on Breeds. The Chickens

It really depends on the quality of the sourdough. Yours will be able to raise bread without yeast by this weekend.

You are keeping it in the fridge? It is supposed to be stored in the fridge until you want to use it.
 
It does not really matter how big of a batch you are making with sourdough. The night before, a sponge is started. The sponge gets nice and sour overnight and the yeast grows. The next morning you add the salt, sugar, oil and etc. along with the rest of the flour. If you want it to go faster, then you would add some yeast then. A teaspoon or two would be enough

I do have it in the fridge little mishap thought the lid was tight as we drilled holes in them so went to pick one up it dropped was yours but did not loose all but had to change my pants fast
