@ronott1 today would have been the perfect day to try out your grinder with popcorn...

I didn't know until I saw this picture on another thread or I would have given more advanced notice lol.
That is something!

I almost had the last piece of cornbread too.

We found it! The perfect, most delicious chocolate cookie recipe ever! I don't have time to post the recipe right now, just thought I'd tease you all with that. They are big, full of chips, don't spread all over the baking sheet, delicious handfuls of wonderful cookie-ness.

I'll be back later with the recipe.

Best Ever Chocolate Chip Cookies

2 1/4 Cup AP flour
1/2 tsp baking soda
1/2 tsp salt
3/4 Cup unsalted butter, melted
1 Cup packed brown sugar
1/2 Cup white sugar
1 Tab. vanilla extract
1 egg
1 egg yolk
2 Cups semi-sweet chocolate chips

* Pre-heat oven to 325*. Line cookie sheets with parchment paper.
* Sift together the flour, baking soda & salt. Set aside.
* In a medium bowl, cream together the melted butter, brown sugar and white sugar until well blended. Beat in the vanilla, egg & egg yolk until light & creamy. Mix in the sifted ingredients until just blended. Mix in the chocolate chips by hand.
* Drop cookie dough 1/4 cup at a time onto prepared cookie sheets. Cookies should be about 3" apart.
* Bake for 15-17 minutes or until edges are lightly toasted. Cool on the baking sheets for a few minutes before transferring to wire racks to cool completely.

Now that's a COOKIE!

I bet they mail well too.
I have to send bars because my cc cookies break so easily.

and the tollhouse bars seem so greasy.

I made my sourdough sponge this morning. Of course, once again, I don't have green onions when I'm going to make them, but I have read onion! So I'm going to make some with cheddar, red onion and bacon and the rest just plain. Yummy! My husband has side work tonight after he gets off work (he went in at 4:30am today), so I figured it would be a good day to have breakfast for dinner. Easy and no arguing

Poor needle had a really yucky bum. ( time for some FF). She came inside for a bath. we cleaned up the craft table and put down a towel and hair dryer. Every thing was in place. Only it appears CrazyLady for got to move some drying art work far enough away from the Blow drying area.

Needle jumped and flapped her wings and before I knew It I thought she was hurt bleeding even. Panicking I lifted to look at her opposite side.

After that they decided to rest.

Unfortunately she really likes the coat of many colors.
