Why do muffin wrappers dont stick to muffins but to brownies?

It has to do with the stickiness of the batter. muffins and cupcakes will stick if you make a mistake in the recipe.

spray the muffin wrappers with non stick spray for brownies.

Hi everyone! I have not been on this thread in forever, but I've been making some delicious pies, which I will share in a bit!
Yummy, sounds like you guys are making some yummy things! I haven't been baking much lately, but I did make enchiladas today for the daycare kids lunch. It's nice to make things I can get ready in the morning before they come and then throw in at lunch time.

I do have some non baking news that's exciting. My husband and I have officially passed and signed off on our adoption home study and adoption papers can be filed at the end of the month. So in not to long (fingers crossed), I will officially be a mother of two!

Congrats on being a mother of two! :celebrate

@ronott1, that fresh strawberry cake looks absolutely amazing! :drool

Okay, so like I said, I've been making a lot of pies recently and actually right now I have a pumpkin pie in the oven! ;) I admit though, I just buy the pie crust and filling from the store. :hide

From making the pies, I learned that the pre-made Pillsbury pie crusts work the best. They might be more expensive but they are much easier to work with and break less than the cheaper brands.

I also made these cute cupcakes for a contest to raise money for 4-H. They didn't win anything but they brought in a whopping load of money for 4-H at the auction. :)

@henny1129 those cupcakes are adorable, sorry they didn't win a prize. Bet there was some pretty neat stuff there, 4H kids are pretty creative... Love the look of your pies also. Fresh cherry Pie, oh my!

I no longer buy bread flour. I just use my non-bleached white flour and add wheat gluten from a package I bought at the store. One tablespoon for a 5 cup flour recipe.

I have been in that boat now with the molt on. I haven't got enough eggs to pay for their feed so for now it's out of pocket. DH isn't too happy about it but once they start laying well again all will be good. My Leghorn pullets have just started to lay but of course the eggs are on the small size for now.

I add gluten powder too. It really helps with the home milled flour.
