Any Home Bakers Here?

That moment when you realize you've moved around too much...

For years I had a single pan that would make 6 doughnuts. I finally treated myself to a 2nd pan so I could make a dozen doughnuts at one time.

Now I can't find my old, original doughnut pan. :barnie

I've never tried baking donuts, but honestly prefer Krispie Kreme -
Do you only do cake type or can you make the yeast type?

Ron you are the bread master!

The only one I knew that loved to make homemade bread as much as you is my older sister. When get wants to bake bread she makes between 20-30 loaves at a time and wraps most of them to put in the freezer so she can have fresh bread when ever she wants.
Years ago I made plain white bread....50 loaves a week in the old fashioned metal antique pails. I sold them for 1.00 a loaf. Lots of work. Now I make multi grains bread just for our family. Love working with yeast.

I know this sounds crazy, but hear me out.
Pumpkin pie makes a great dip!

Bake your pumpkin pie filling in a greased casserole dish - NO CRUST - and add a spoon for serving. Set out a plate of cookies - I prefer refrigerator cookies or plain cutouts because they are not too sweet, DH likes his Ginger roll cookies for this.

I have also done the Weight Watchers snack - one can of pumpkin, 3 ounces of cream cheese, and pumpkin pie spices. All blended together, but not bkaed. I don't remember now what we used for dipping - maybe veggies?

Nice!

You must have had very strong hands and arms from all that kneading!

Sounds yummy - I just love pumpkin and all the fall spices! So glad all the fall/holiday baking is finally starting.

We dug up some turnips from the garden and I roasted them with carrots and potatoes. They were really good! Going to have to dig the rest of them soon, as well as the rutabagas and store in the extra fridge. They're so good roasted, in stews, and so many ways! And a lot lower in carbs than potatoes.

Rosebush that has the scent of clove, Heliotrope that is vanilla scented, and inside the breezeway very ripe Pawpaws. Wonderful aromas just outside the breezeway door (with no baking involved)!

The Pawpaw pic are the ones that went into our second refrigerator. I put the overripe Pawpaws outside for the chickens and muscovies, but they didn't eat them.
