Nena is so cute! Best wishes for a loving home for her :)
We still need to hook up with journey north to get her rescheduled with them she had a seat in Janurary with them when she was pregnant. But the woman who "rescued" her at that time absconded with the puppies and moved. I will not allow that to happen again to this poor girl. She is with us vaccinated and vetted until she moves north.

EDIT--
Oh yeah and she is no longer flea infested!

I'll never understand people like that...shame on them! :rant

I'm glad Nena has someone like you to watch over her.

2 of the 3 dogs are rescues we had 4 finally found on a forever home
I worked with paws various time closing puppy mills
The problem here is people do not fix their animals. Allow them to run free or don't even own a fence and then sell their puppies in Walmart parking lots. There is a huge puppy culture down here. I have 10+ year old dogs, but rarely meet older dogs while walking mine, just puppies. Heck 1 dog and the cat have been back and forth to Germany twice now, not to mention all the other US states they have lived in.

EDIT at this point only @penny1960 has given this a like... Please never tell a veteran "Thank you for your service" as this one feels used! Nothing personal, it is what it is. Sorry @rjohns39 gave this a like too.

I apologize that is one sentence I hear entirely too often and it annoys the heck out of me as the people saying it aren't or weren't in my situation.
Much better than the way Veterans were treated during the Vietnam War by Citizens LOL
