Broccoli cheddar fritters

12 oz flour, sifted
12 oz milk
1.5 T baking powder
16 oz cooked broccoli florets
8 oz sharp cheddar cheese
4 eggs
1 tsp salt
Worcestershire & hot sauce

Combine the flour, eggs, milk, salt, baking powder, and sauces (to taste) until smooth.
Fold in broccoli and cheese.
Deep fry @ 350* by the spoonful until golden brown.

Whacky cake

3 C flour
2 C sugar
2/3 C cocoa powder
2 tsp baking soda
3/4 tsp salt
2/3 C oil
2 tsp vinegar
2 tsp vanilla extract
2 C water

Grease and flour a 13x9 pan.
Combine all ingredients, and pour into pan. Bake @ 325* for 45 minutes.
The older this cake gets, the moister and more flavorful.
We call that crazy cake. It’s my go to chocolate cake. I made them into cupcakes with whipped buttercream for my sisters wedding. They were so good.

I have heard it called many variations of crazy. It’s actually a great recipe to have on hand when you’re in need of something sweet, but out of everything.
