Any Home Bakers Here?

I still can’t smell the pie. The pecan was wafting through the house quickly. Maybe the lid is sealed better on this crock. :confused: 30-60 minutes to go.
That happened with the sweet potatoes in the crock yesterday. It takes a while for the smell to release.
 
When in the truck, I learned that most anything could be made in a slow cooker. I just never thought about pies and cakes. Still, this is a fun new way to bake.
You can cook a lot of things in an instant pot set on pressure cook too

It’s a bit light still, so I’m giving it another half hour.
I did take a picture of the crust of the pecan pie. I wanted to show that it browned nicely.
