I said I’d share, so for the few interested, here’s a sourdough covered balloon piñata in the making. Btw, the dog likes sourdough starter.

Haven't you ever taken a whack at a piñata Penny? Great fun...it's figures or shapes that have candy inside and everyone takes turns hitting it to see who can break it open to make the candy drop!

I've never made one but have taken a turn or two at breaking one

What are your favorite holiday recipes?

For Holiday Sweets, we have Rosettes, cutout cookies with buttercream frosting, and Kringles. I will need to find butter on sale to make some Christmas Kringles to give to friends.
Out in Wyoming, I made Kringles and gave them to the neighbors. Only 1 family had ever had a Kringle before. They each got 2 flavors of Kringle.

Favorite cookie of all time to make are Snickerdoodles, and holiday time is when I make most of them.

Have been learning how to make Kiflies. I think I've got the rolling up part. Making some today to give away, and hope it goes well. I'll post pics later.

I only like them without being dusted in powdered sugar.

Also, I love the Kiflie dough for savory recipes. Have lots of ideas. Thinking mini turkey pot pies...
