It's a pretty picture but staying at home sounds like a really good plan! Your dinner sounds tasty too.

We have a flood watch and wind advisory from Wed to Thursday here. The Sierras have more severe conditions coming.

Stay warm and enjoy the baked dinner!

I’m juicing and zesting lemon right now (okay, I stopped to turn down my tablet, and got on here for a minute). I’m not decided on what to make, but lemon bars just popped in my head, and have me grinning with glee!
Lemon Bars sounds great!

Our expected eight or more inches is only about three or four. It’s snowing, blowing and occasionally sleeting out there.
That sound like what happens here-- weather alerts and then not as bad as expected.

Sometimes though it gets rough!

I moved out of a third floor apartment above the church. A few months later, there was a 30% chance of rain. The basement flooded, the chapel flooded, and it was almost to the second floor. I was told it was over six feet of water in the streets.

So far the flooding is creeks and small streams-- local flooding. The Rivers are ok so far. We have problems with that in March though. I do not think that the Dams are full so that helps regulate the water in the Rivers.

I would expect the Russian River up north of San Francisco to flood first though.
