Any Home Bakers Here?

It’s the soda debate! No, no. We aren’t getting into what we call it!
When we were little, our parents gave us flat, room temperature ginger ale for nausea.
Later, I was told Coca Cola was right for nausea.
Which one do you guys use?
half a teaspoon of baking soda in half a cup of water.

Chewing candied ginger helps with nausea and is very tasty!

I do flat room temp cola for vomiting and room temp ginger ale for an upset tummy.

:caf You really don’t like me, do you?
:lau
 Sorry!

The closest to soda for illness was when I drank 7-up after getting my tonsils out. It helped make my throat feel better.

Baking soda in water will either make me feel better or make me empty my stomach contents. Either way I usually feel better.

The Daughters like to chew on candied ginger and do not like the baking soda.

:hugsI hope you feel better!

Oh, it was just a question on my mind.
But it has to be Canada Dry and I have gingerroot on hand for the rabbits so the kids know to cut a slice if they feel ill but have not gotten ill.
I had a friend that brought me ginger root to keep in the freezer for when I got sick. I HATED it!! I got used to it, but I hated it.

Until I met my husband, it had never occurred to me to drink a ginger ale cold and fizzy.
