Deer sounds good, but we are having Dublin Coddler for supper tonight. (Thanks @N F C for the recipe). And a deep dish pumpkin pie for dessert, with fresh whipped cream. Dh says I owe him a real pumpkin pie since the one my mom made for thanksgiving was so horrible.
I made it last night - late last night - and we will eat it today. I may have put too much garlic in the stew, I think the recipe said 4 cloves and I put 4 teaspoons of dried, minced garlic in. It has the whole fridge smelling garlicky, lol.
I will pick up a crusty bagette to go with it and supper is all set.

Living room. As you can see, my Saint Bernard Lady Bird, and Buster love it.

In case you're wondering, yes, that is a grandfather clock. Mother's Day present for my mom I found Craigslist for 100 dollars. I have experience with gear clocks, and I inspected it before buying it. I said to the guy, " this clock is in very good condition. It will cost $3,300 in today's money. You're really selling this for $100?"

He said yes. I then said I would take it.

A great Mother's Day present.



Backyard. Plenty of garden space.



Entertainment room. My brother is playing the Nintendo 64, if you guys know what that is. Me and him are old school gamers.

I also got a maple tree, and I'm able to make maple syrup. Currently in the middle of the sap run.

@jnicholes Looks like a nice place. There is alot of space for everybody - my english setter likes to stretch out like your St. Bernard - but in the walkway through the kitchen, lol. It looks like our brother is playing - Legend of Zelda... if not, he should, lol. I love that game!

@wyoDreamer, he's been playing Zelda since 1998. From Ocarina of Time to Breath of the Wild.

Dogs are very happy also. My St Bernard does the same thing. She does it in a lot of places. Sometimes, we trip over her. On occasion, she lets out a sigh and that's an indicator to us that life is good for her.

My friends have a Jack Russel that will not sit on hard floors. Carpet or bed only for his little tookus, lol.
