Any Home Bakers Here?

I have given allot starter to others it nice to have clean jars to transfer to but any canning jar works really just do not seal it tight.. Sorry been gone all day now headed to feed dogs

Penny, I cover the jar with a coffee filter and put a rubber band around the jar. When I change to a clean jar...I use a clean coffee filter and it WORKS fine. Aria

The Maple Antique Hoosier is now at the Cottage. We picked it up
today. Looked around a Antique Shop ...and the Blue Ball Jar that
I keep my Sourdough Starter.....had a price tag $14.00. WOW..

Mine are not Blue may look for one we turned a wide mouth into a hanging light in the kitchen BF and I was looking at lights yesterday kinda thinking of redoing the other light
I do not think a hanging light would be good to replace the one in the middle light

Not if it hangs too close to table or food. Never seen any thing like
that...must be pretty. I just love old, antique things. I have a green Ball Jar somewhere...perhaps I better look for it and give it
a use. Never imagined they would be that valuable. We have an old country store light at the cottage. Love it. Aria

Penny, THAT IS BEAUTIFUL. Never seen anything done like that.
Who made it? Very clever. I think if you made the drop shorter...
it would work for center you spoke about. It is very attractive.

That is a workable large kitchen....I did not see clutter. Sorry.
In order to cook, bake....you need the tools to work with and it
is part of the whole plan. ENJOY. Aria

We have a large kitchen no doubt love it most pots are on large hooks very few in the cupboards but the lids take up some my two fan style rakes carry tools and measure cups

It is a nice work space! My kitchen is like a snack kitchen. There is barely enough room for one person to work in it.
