Sounds great Aria! You'll have to share a picture of your Swedish Tea Ring. I've never made one before.
I grew up on Swedish Tea Rings. It is basically a sweet roll formed into a circle with a hole in the middle. Since I cannot have sweet rolls, I haven't made one in many years.

I've figured out our turkey for Thanksgiving. Since it's just DH & me, we're going to get just the breast and I'm going to cook it in the crock pot so the oven is free. Once the turkey breast is done, I can put it under the oven broiler for a few minutes to crisp up the skin (not a part I care for but DH likes it).

Yay, that takes care of the turkey and the pie plans!
It's always just two of us as well, but we always cook a whole turkey. I'll get one that is only 12-15 lbs. This because I must have a carcass for zooop!

The three of us do good on 10 to 12 lb admit we are not great on leftover
but can get a turkey noodle dish from it
I am with you Penny....called to see if I could get an 8 pound turkey....did not think so. The 5 pound Chicken it is. I am a bit
shy to say....I JUST learned to make a neat package folding sheets.
Folding the fitted sheet and then folding the pillow cases and the
top sheet.....and the last fold...making one neat package. My linen closet now looks normal. Of course I folded as neat as I knew how..but this method is super. Proves...you are never too old to learn.

Good afternoon everyone. I made an apple crisp today. Pretty good. Igor thought I was cooking for something in advance and didn't realize it's to eat

That looks awesome IM, I'll take a piece :drool

Thanks, Help yourself. I have fresh whipped cream and/or vanilla ice cream to put on top.
I think I need to bake something... That looks so good.

Thank you, smells good. Igor said he gained 25 lbs walking through the kitchen. I just had a bite and it doesn't seem overly sweet.
