About a month ago, someone on another thread was going on and on about Chaga. According to them, it's a big deal in Minnesota

That was the first I'd ever heard of it.

What is it?

I made sourdough bread. It’s crusty, and gooooood! I may have kinda sorta eaten some right away.

I'm jealous. I keep feeding the starter Penny Jo gave me, but I've been to afraid to use it to make bread.

I just made a batch of Spanish Rice. It is yummy and a little warm. For the first time ever, I cut up a small jalapeno in it.

Definitely jalapeno! Sounds really good!!!

Do a starter loaf first. Or, you can do it in the bread machine.
The dog (I swear I don’t mean to keep giving him baked goods) and I ate a bunch of bread. I think I’m going to make croutons from the rest.
OH!!! Make bread, and if it turns out “bad” use it for the stuffing next week!

If I remember correctly, it's a mushroom that people can steep like a tea. It's supposed to have health benefits.

No bread machine here. I'm the bread machine. Great idea to make it and if it doesn't turn out use it for TG stuffing!!!
