Any Home Bakers Here?

I am more worried about the disaster hysteria that might happen.

I do work at a place that might have more of a risk though-- Public university

Any where there are people sneezing, coughing and touching things is a risk. I think anyone that goes to a grocery store, sits in a doctor's office or goes to a movie is at risk.

This might be one of those times where living in the boonies of Wyoming may be helpful.

We are fairly well stocked with toilette paper and have plenty of hand soap.

I do need to stock up on beans and maybe get a 25# bag of flour. I have about 12 pounds left at home now.

I should shop at costco on a week night too. Sunday was a zoo this week!

Went to Sam's Club last night for chicken - their family packs of boneless, skinless chicken breast is $1.99 per pound. Bought 7 pounds. I hope to freeze a couple of pounds and can up the other 5 pounds. Also got some really good looking Angus Sirloin Tip Steaks to try canning up - $3.69 per pound is pretty good for beef.

So, until I get my chicken tractor up and running so to speak, I buy cheap chicken. Hope to get more this weekend to can more up and have it on the shelf if we need it..

Well, I've taken a stab at KA's 100% Whole Wheat Bread recipe. I used my own ground hard white wheat flour (I milled it from whole wheat berries). First rise was great, second not so much and it cooked in half the time expected. Pictures and analysis to follow. I'm determined to find a sandwich bread recipe that I can make without adding bread flour.
