IM, What is your favorite??? Aria

It's a recipe I've posted here before I think, it uses scalded milk and butter. My mom has used the recipe for years and I've always loved it.

The sourdough is in the oven now though. If it's an acceptable substitute it could be the new favorite.

Sounds like my mom’s recipe. She made a lot of it having 12 kids.

This was the starter this morning

This is the bread this afternoon. Smells wonderful and it's got great height. We're making grilled cheese tonight with it and having soup.
