Recipe? Pretty please with sugar on top

I haven't tested the recipe yet, but here's what I'm going to try...just a simple quick bread:

Oh, I didn't see that part of your post. I'll eat just about anything peanut butter and my brain stopped there Let me know what you think after you try it.

Yes I could! I was seriously considering baking some in the morning. There's not a lot of sugar in it so I bet it's not overly sweet.

It looks very nice!

you used fed starter this time. It is more active that say and will raise the bread faster.

I used fed starter every time. I don’t think I let it get bubbly enough. It definitely raised alot better.

On a side note, I'm finally in the new house. Everything is moved in. We just need to unpack a little bit.

Yeah just a little bit, only the things you need now. No sense unpacking stuff you aren't going to use right away and then have to pack them back up for the more permanent move.

My loaf turned out to be more like a roll.

Nothing wrong with rolls.

When DH comes home in a couple days I'm going to make a loaf of peanut butter bread.

So you can just put on the jelly/jam/preserves and skip the messy sticky part at lunch time?
That bread wouldn't fly here, DW has great dislike for anything related to peanuts.

Note: The recipe says to use no-stick spray on the taquitos before baking. Tried it, didn't like it. They were better brushed with a little melted butter.

I can't imagine any "no-stick" spray would be as good as butter.
