Try less flour and make sure to not beat it too much. AP flour makes gluten very easilyHoping that you guys can give me some advice - My coffee cake recipe comes out very delicate - it barely holds together for serving and it is a touch dry. What ingredient do you think I need to change to improve it:
- less flour
- more shortening
- more eggs
The flavor is fantastic and I don't want to change that too much. It is just the texture need to be improved just a little bit.
