It’s funny a little while ago I turned to DH and said “I wonder if I put Penny Jo back in the fridge last night.” He looked at me like I’d lost my last marble so I had to tell him that Ron suggested I name it.Gosh did not feel things when You fed me![]()
It is nice to have you here!Hello, I'm Snappy.
I've been hesitant to join this thread because I have to cook differently, but after reading the first post and the awesome recipe index it looks like I'll be able to convert some of the recipes for my family.
Severe family allergies means I have to cook completely dairy free (all animal milks and products derived from) and watch out for certain nuts. Plus we have to be gluten free too.
But, I do a lot of home cooking, baking, canning, treat making, and even candy.
(I can have some dairy, like yogurt or cheese, but only me)
Anywho... always looking for good things to make using basic ingredients and food from the farm and the garden.

Thanks, and that's awesome for your DD! Always good news when kids can expand their previously limited diets. It is nice to have you here!
My youngest DD is gluten free. Her lactose issues were actually from the gluten so she can have dairy now
We got wind last night and some rain yesterday afternoon but so far the sun is shining. I wanted to tell you I fed Penny Jo and made another batch of English muffins. This thread has improved lockdown so much for us!

That is rough, really cuts down on the menu options. My older daughter is gluten and nightshade intolerant and vegetarian by choice. Good thing she can do dairy because that is her primary source of protein.Severe family allergies means I have to cook completely dairy free (all animal milks and products derived from) and watch out for certain nuts.
