If you'd added some chopped up cherries in the batter, you could have had 4th of July cookies! Bet they taste good. And it's good for the kids to do stuff in the kitchen!
Hey, there's an idea! Might give that a try.
I just pulled 50 Italian meatballs out of the oven. I made them with a mix of 2 lb. ground beef, 1 lb. ground pork and a bunch of seasonings, panko crumbs, eggs, mozzarella cheese. We'll get a lot of mileage out of those (I love having stuff prepared and ready to go).
Nice! I like doing that too, makes life so much easier :highfive:

It sure does and makes getting dinner on the table a lot faster. With DH's work schedule (ha, like he has a schedule) I never know when he might be eating dinner.

Tonight we're going to do meatball sandwiches with peppers & onions and mozz cheese, yum!

Those sound yummy! We're having cheese tortellini with homemade meatballs from the freezer. I'm going to doctor the sauce with some fresh basil from the garden.

I had help from the muppets so ours turned out blue and white. I used a slightly different recipe but bookmarked yours for the next batch.
That is what our pancake batter looks like if I don't rinse the frozen blueberries well before putting them in the batter. Then you get some sickly blue-grey pancakes. Tastes the same though.

Anything with CHEESECAKE is a winner in my book.
Good thing I can till have regular dairy...not sure I could handle not having CHEESECAKE in my life.

@igorsMistress yours look yummy too. Blue, pink, red, purple...it's all good in my book if CHEESECAKE is in it. :D

I’m posting this here because you told me which mushrooms I needed.
