@rjohns39 I'm in uk. :)

@NFC . My flour is old and have out of date whole meal :( . Going to do a cheke and hope it's ok. So annoyed with myself for leaving such good flour for so long. It's sealed and definitely going t have to try and use some of what I have here today.
Out if bread and this weather is way to bad to go out .

The flour appeared and smelled ok..

I used ..
250g of bread flour
250 wholemeal flour
2 tsp sugar
2 tsp salt
Pack of dried yeast 7g
450ml warm water. The recipe read as 400 but it looked to dry so added a little more water. Then put a dessert spon full of olive oil, to keep it moist.

Fingers crossed it will be ok
Let us know how it turns out.
Paella is one of our all-time favorite dishes! We used to make it often when we lived in FL. I love mussels in it.

Did the rice come out ok? I like it kind of on the crispy side.
Rice turned out well. mostly soft, but some had a touch of crispy. I did give it a stir about half way through.

Lately, I’ve been having sleep problems. I’m going to be seeing a sleep doctor about it soon. It’s a strange thing. I go through sleep paralysis more often than usual. And I’m conscious when it happens. I don’t know what the problem is.

I woke up at two and could not go back to sleep because of this, so I made a pizza.

This is called Bismarck pizza. It’s topped with tomato sauce, mozzarella cheese, ham, and sunny side up egg.

I had a slice and it's lovely so just had to have another chunk :) . I must try to make this every week.
I was buying from a local lady but it's been awkward since lockdown, not a pleasant experience at all, especially when your ordered bread is not there.
It's hard to beat bread fresh out of your oven. It's such a satisfying experience.
