Banana bread and summer fruits muffins today. My mum got me another big sack of flour. I've still got 1/3 of the last sack to use up. Good excuse to bake
The muffins are a bit too nice.

Are you baking them on the bottom shelf of the oven?

They do not look over baked but too hot at the top

The banana bread was on the bottom, muffins top, I moved the bread up when the muffins were done. My oven is temperamental too.

It has just made a luscious sandwich. I'll never go back to shop bought again

I replaced the thermostat in my Mom's oven because it would not hold temperature

I do agree about home made bread and flavor. It is also better for you because of the processed ingredients in store bread

The less humidity gives baked good a FINE look. These LOOK SUPER.
