Also, take care of yourself. I got kind of spanked by her nurse as I was passing out in her room. I hadn't eaten for like three days. You have to stay healthy for him and it's hard because well, we eat with our spouse and if they aren't here, we don't. get past that and eat.

Bob, I hear you. Of course I am not enjoying eating as much and not cooking much....but am making sure I do eat. I am going to scramble two eggs add a little milk....beat with a fork, hot small cast iron fry pan drop the eggs in and cover...just let cook...no more touching....it cooks like a
pancake. Learned from Stacy on U Tube. Makes a nice dinner with a
toasted slice of homemade bread. And yogurt for dessert. Aria

I was passing out in her room. The nurse made me go to the cafeteria and get food. One meal and I was back on tract. But never even thought about it until the nurse made me go.

I was passing out in her room. The nurse made me go to the cafeteria and get food. One meal and I was back on tract. But never even thought about it until the nurse made me go.

How is Sue doing? I know the feeling of being separated and one is ill.

Debby, he is BETTER. He called from his hospital bed....and it was so
great to hear his voice. Yesterday, he could hardly talk...and today....he
is calling me on the phone. I am praying he gets that pneumonia gone
gone gone and will be able to come home soon. Of course because of
Covid-19.....he had the test and the results will take three days. Probably
we will know more Monday. We can communicate and that is a super
start. We can just dial direct and get to his phone. He cannot have
visitors because of Covid. Thanks for asking. Aria

Aria I'm so sorry I really didn't know your husband was ill. It's really good you are now able to talk. Sending you both my best wishes and prayers for a swift recovery

Good morning everyone. I'm so sorry I haven't been around. There's a lot of problems with my home that's been neglected way before I got here and after a fair few years I'm pushing my landlords to get it repaired. But right now there's holes in my walls and filthy dust entering from all over.

When I think of all of you that has suffered these fires floods and families that have been unwell I feel deeply ashamed to even mention my tiny problems.
Hopefully I'll be baking again soon.

It's been many years since I made one of those puddings. I haven't even seen tapioca around any of our shops in years.
I just put the tapioca into a dish with sugar milk and a little butter nutmeg on top then leave in the oven until until set. I think about 40 minutes to an hour.
