Any Home Bakers Here?

Ron is this the variety that doesn’t need refrigerated
Sourdough starter should be refrigerated or you will need to feed it each day

Hi guys :)
It’s been crazy busy with the grandkids and work plus the ducks and garden that I haven’t baked all winter. A batch of cookies here and there but that’s about it. I hope you’re all well. Hubs requested a cake for his birthday so I made a chocolate mayonnaise cake with cream cheese frosting. I’m trying it with Dutch cocoa this time.

Happy birthday to Igor! 🎂

Not being a coin collector, what does clad proof mean? What is the value of this coin? Curious.... :pop

A proof is basically specially minted for collector sets. This one somehow made it into circulation.

ETA the value is 25 cents. A clad means it’s not silver.

@jnicholes You’ve created a monster! Now I am switching to pretzel buns for hamburgers, hotdogs, sandwiches...

Are the girls happy at their new home?

Is the cycle just light dependent and heck with cold and windy?
Light. Though I do have one 1.5 year old girl still laying, hasn't yet moulted! And 2 others that started back up which I don't expect until mid to late February at the earliest.

No taste is there did not seem as creamy as I think .. like comapred to one I buy so there :gig
Probably a lot more chemical additives in the store bought ones to give it that texture.

Look what McDonald’s gave me by mistake in change!

That's a centennial Canada cent!
Certainly not an error they would make in Canada, they dumped the penny a couple of years ago. Things are still priced to the penny (and 1/10 penny at the gas pump) but the total is rounded to the nearest 5 cents.
