I went into the kitchen to make another cup of coffee. I went to let the dog inside, and saw the comforter that needed rewashed. So I started that. Back into the kitchen, “oh, a K-cup box filled with feathers might be inviting to the quail chicks!” So, I opened a box the dispenser style way. Then I ...
The dish drainer and sink strainer are being bleached, the mashed potatoes are almost done for potato pancakes, and maybe potato candy, and the cc pb cookies just finished. My coffee is still warm though! :thumbsup
I would have forgotten to let dog in when I saw the comforter which I would have given to the quail chicks then remember to let the dog in and wound up with a mug potato soup instead of coffee.

I do like French toast, but had been avoiding it since the girls had quit laying and my surplus eggs were quickly dwindling away. Betty White, my buff orphington, had even stopped talking to me and quit letting me pet her. She was walking right past me like she didn't even know me. Finally, one day last week, as I was cleaning out the coop, here comes Betty just chattering away. Catching me up on all the gossip. Next day AN EGG! She's already back to squatting when I say her name. Aw, what a week of resuming laying will do for a sweet little fluffy butt chicken named Betty.:celebrate
That reminds me!! The dog really does jump on me when I come from the coop. He wants his egg!! Today I looked at his pleading expression, and wiggling butt, and tossed him an egg. I have seven eggs now, and should (no idea what the holdup is!) be getting up to eight a day soon. That will last until April when everyone will go broody. Continuously!
