I still use mine! They are very good for roasting and bakingI think all of my 13x9’s are from 10-15 years ago. The cup is from at least twenty years ago. I will now be afraid of my Pyrex.

Well I suppose you could STOP making bread until you actually need some moreDoes anyone have excess bread, and if you do, what do you do with it? There is only one of me and I just can't eat but so much bread.
You could add on to the house and double the size of the kitchen. I'm sure Bob would love to recreate the kitchen at the prior house. When we moved here, we gave up counter and cabinet space and it looks like we need to downsize some more.
See below ( I sure miss being able to nest comments!!!!!!)What is a Keurig?
Which is pretty much the most expensive coffee you can make given the price of the machine. The "value" is if you want to make different flavors. Since each "pod" is 1 cup of "something" you can have all your favorite flavors at hand without having to buy a pound of each and end up with "stale" coffee. You can also make hot chocolate or tea. (I know this is NOT a proper cup of tea!!)a single serve coffee maker using prepackaged pods of coffee
So basically soggy bread!I sometimes make overnight French toast, which is pretty much the same thing as bread pudding.
Essentially a double boiler without having to buy a special/extra pan.Use a metal bowl to melt chocolate on the stove sitting on pot with water
I have those sizes as well. I don't know when the dividing line/time is between old and new but I've had these over 40 years.I have a 1, 2 &4 cup pyrex love them too. They seem like the old ones. They say 100th anniversary on them.
You can still do nested quotes. You have to turn on BB code to do it. Remember to turn off BB code when you are done because it messes with other things. What is a Keurig?a single serve coffee maker using prepackaged pods of coffee

Not basically soggy bread! The bread puffs up, top with some butter and cinnamon sugar, and bake. When I have company, it makes for an easier breakfast since it bakes while the bacon and eggs are cooking. I don't do much baking in the summer since I have a small house with no central a/c. So, when winter comes, I tend to get carried away with baking bread. As good an excuse for turning on the oven as anyWell I suppose you could STOP making bread until you actually need some more
I generally make 1 loaf of KA basic sourdough a week. I leave enough out for a couple of sandwiches and French Toast (the NOT bread pudding kind!) and freeze the rest presliced.

It did sound like a nice place to cook!I would so love to have that kitchen back, a lot of blood, sweat and tears went into that place.
Well that explains it. Our cook book was Betty Crocker.I have a "Watkin's Cookbook" from the early 1940s and the recipe is it. I have been making this recipe since I was old enough to cook.
