Do you listen to the NPR show "A way with words"? If not, find it. I bet you would like it a lot.I got it on sale for $200. Yeah, I'm kind of a word nerd.
They keep in the freezer almost forever. I broke out some that had been in our freezer for at least 3 if not 4 years for Thanksgiving. They were fine.Yeah, these cranberries are from Thanksgiving/Christmas 2019... maybe 2018? Like I said, I haven't cleaned out the freezer in a long time.
I would think so! I doubt I've eaten a quarter of that much in my life. The prices are pretty good, but a 50 pound box of cranberries is a bit of work to take care of, lol.

And to make the numbers look less daunting. One serving ='s so much sugar, fat, calories, salt. People who read labels wouldn't buy half the stuff they do if they saw what a realistic serving contained. They are suppose to be working on making serving sizes closer to what people actually use.Hmmm, here one plastic can doesn't really do it for a 2 layer cake and I don't think we put it on all that thick. The serving size really means nothing, it is just a way to get "nutrition" info listed by "serving".
I haven't let that slow me down when orderingFast food industry fought against since they knew customers were going to be shocked at the numbers. If the nutritional values didn't kill your appetite, your appetite would kill you.
Ok I’ve got a good one for all. Father in law used to own a donut shop. One day while frying I decided to do a little experiment. He would make a very large apple fritter. So I weighed it before frying and dunking into glaze. 8 ounces before, and a full pound after frying and glaze. That’s 8 ounces of lard and sugar. Didn’t eat another after that. Darn things were really good fresh out of the glaze too. There were never any leftover at the end of the day.And to make the numbers look less daunting. Remember when they started requiring fast food places post nutritional values? Fast food industry fought against since they knew customers were going to be shocked at the numbers. If the nutritional values didn't kill your appetite, your appetite would kill you.
All the little air pockets filled with lard and sugar, almost wished I didn’t weigh them.
Wow, I wouldn't have guessed there was so much lard in a single fritter.
