Making Chicken Cobbler again for dinner.
 
Chocolate Chip Cookie Mug Cake:

1 Tbsp melted butter or coconut oil

1 Tbsp Granulated sugar

1 Tbsp Brown sugar

Pinch salt

Few drops vanilla extract

1 Egg yolk

1/4cup All purpose flour

2 Tbsp regular or mini chocolate chip


Direction:

Combine melted butter or oil, sugars, egg yolk, salt, and vanilla inside the mug.

Add flour and mix

Add chocolate chips and stir
if desired you can sprinkle a few on top.

Microwave for approximately 50-60 seconds. The cook time will very depending on your microwave.

Serve while still warm can be topped with vanilla ice cream.

I was thinking maybe that could be part of it. When I've made it I've not made a big X slash, just a couple of small parallel ones.

I have my eye and whole wheat flour dampened so will add the sourdough later.
You were crying in your whole wheat flour? Can we do something to help?
 
Yes, that’s most likely a part of it ... you may have also accidentally gotten it too close to the edge and when the crust rose,

That is what I though maybe even a bit too much oil in pesto I only add oil when I use some ... I wondered but wanted to be sure thank you
 
Today is an experiment of sorts. I stirred together another batch of Champlain bread, but the starter had been fed the night before rather than just several hours before using. I stirred it and there were a few bubbles but it wasn’t a foamy active culture. This morning the first folds went like normal but we shall see!
