We do not see mice here but we have had rats! They come from the fields in the Fall. There have been a lot of houses built between us and the fields so we do not get that many anymore.

My cat likes to hunt the mice around here. We live on old farmland

Every year on Easter, we make Sally Lunn bread in a bundt pan. It's so delicious!

Her version uses a pullman loaf pan, some recipes use a bundt pan. So yes it's probably between a cake and bread, but it shouldn't be sweet with a third cup of sugar? If it's too sweet maybe I'll make it with less sugar next time. I bet it'll make awesome french bread. I mean french toast.

It's been a bit of a rough week here. Thank goodness for bullchick she's been amazing. She makes me laugh instead of cry in here.

My friend fell down and couldn't get up last night, so thank heaven she has a partner that managed to get too her. I felt useless as we were on the phone when it happened, she was stuck for a hour and a half.
