Experiencing another Break. My refrigerator ..5 years old is not cooling well. The refrigerator fan running and is 50-53 degrees only. The Freezer is working FINE. My son said I was not going to deal with this. He purchased a new refrigerator and it will be delivered Sunday, Mother's Day. Aria

Hey bakers! Been a while since I was around here. Finals week is too soon, haha! I made my hens a 1st Hatchday "cake" yesterday. They gobbled it up!

we had a hard time finding one that was large enough but without an ice maker/water dispenser. Our hard well water would make those features a hassle

I wanted a Kitchen Aid or a Whirlpool....recommended in this area. I had to wait
too long for a Kitchen Aid and purchased the LAST Whirlpool in my area. AND I WAS NOT able to find one without an icemaker. My son had the same problem and he said he just removed the ice bucket and does not use the ice maker and that becomes usable space. EEK...what a shopping trip....NOT my favorite. What make did you find without an icemaker? Aria

We have our first red flag fire danger today!

I heard on NPR today that Cal might have a worse fire danger this year than last.

Also, it looks like I am moving again.

That problem was finally resolved and we are now moving to a permanent place.

That is weird. Usually the compressor goes and you get no cold anywhere.

We got the LAST one available at Lowe's Whirlpool.

Whirlpool owns most of the major appliance brands we know. Buy a Matag, get a Whirlpool, buy a KitchenAid, get a Whirlpool I don't think they own LG.

I hope you are correct. I wanted a Kitchen Aid.
My repair man told my son he does not work on
Whirlpool. He owns a Kitchen Aid. For me to get
Kitchen Aid.......I would be with a 1/2 working refrigerator for 2 3 or 4 weeks. Too long to wait.
Only choice was Whirlpool. Aria

Good Morning All, cup of tea in hand and planning the day. Need to make some bread and clean a chicken coop, then out in the garage to get some work done.

I made this lovely buttermilk strawberry cake a few days ago and it was so yummy!
